"Being crowned Miss Missouri was an exciting and sobering event. I suddenly had the opportunity to talk to people all across the state about my platform and the scholarship system that has awarded me over $15,000 toward my education.
"I have learned from talking to people in all walks of life that we are all concerned about the character of children. Charcter education is an ongoing , day-in, day-out process in which all of us need to have a part.
"The Miss Missouri Organization has helped me to continue my dream to obtain a Doctorate in Business Administration and to become a professor. I will also get my chance to build character into Missouri's future once again."
